    Infra_spection

In 2014 I Co-Curated the 2014-15 residency cycle at The White Building, London. Thematic: #stacktivism is a term that attempts to give form to a critical conversation and line of enquiry around infrastructures and the relationship we have to them. As the digital divide and post‐internet discourses lose traction and diversify, artists and creative technologists are faced with a new set of trending critical dialogues in the face of the morphing technological landscape. The INFRA_SPECTION residency acknowledges this shift, and the participating artists were invited to enter into a dialogue with the rapidly evolving perspectives of #stacktivism as a catalyst for their practice. The residencies generated a programme of events and critical debate around how creative practices are positioned within our contemporary convergence culture. INFRA_SPECTION also raised questions about the terms of engagement artists and creative technologists are working […]

    The Thought Menu

The Thought Menu The Thought Menu was a DIY nomadic talk series started in Summer 2012. The aim of The Thought Menu was to bring together people from diverse backgrounds who are willing to share their passions. The Thought Menu has a strong emphasis on engagement and participation.  The atmosphere is informal and the talks are kept short to feed conversation and break down barriers. The Thought Menu Recipe Each speaker has 15 minutes. They can use those 15 minutes however they like, as long as 5 minutes are open to questions. The facilitator marks each 5 minute segment with a bell (or whatever sound is available). Speakers are free to talk with or without slides // whatever they prefer. Our one rule is β€˜Be Interesting’. A Brief History TTM was founded in Summer 2012 by Ben Vickers , Gaia […]
